Mid-week evening racing

Thursday Handicap - 7.00pm, 24th April onwards

Tuesday Personal Handicap - 7.00pm, 29th April onwards - for an explanation of the new PH system please read this pdf

 

Sunday Racing
Race 1 - Fleet Starts - Laser, Solo, Handicap, JAYS - 3, 2, 1, Go

Race 2 - 60 minute Pursuit (Solos are datum start - 5, 4, 1, Go)
Race 3 - Handicap - mass start - 5, 4, 1, Go

On most Sundays with Open Meetings - 3 races, all mass start, for the Holcot Handicap Series

Thursday Evening Social Events - 28th February - Pre-Season Social - attended by over 60 members.

 

31st January - Fun Family Quiz and Jacket Potato Night - more than 40 people took part in this enjoyable event. Many thanks to the Social Team!

AW Junior Open at NSC - Saturday June 9th - 32 boats took part in this event, with training in the morning and three races after lunch. Lots of sunshine but not enough wind!
Congratulations to: Oliver Wilson (2nd overall & 1st Optimist), Max Odell (8th overall & 3rd Optimist), James Walker (10th overall and 2nd Topper). Well done to all the other NSC sailors.

Congratulations to Stephanie Harding who came 1st Junior Girl out of a fleet of 243 at the Optimist End of Season Championships at Weymouth, to add to the Top Junior Girl title that she won at the Optimist Nationals. She has also been offered a place in the Optimist National Squad. Well done Stephanie!

145 boats signed on for the biggest ever Steve Nicholson Race.
Over £2700 raised for Asthma UK.
